The Kite Loop

Frame, Fly, Check, Learn. A rhythm per work item instead of a two-week sprint, with three fixed team rhythms around it.

Every loop starts with a human and ends with a lesson

The Kite Loop replaces the sprint. When building takes hours instead of days, a fixed two-week sprint is too slow a feedback loop. Each work item therefore runs its own four-step loop, and planning becomes a continuous queue of Kite Briefs in priority order.

  1. Human

    1. Frame

Write the Kite Brief and choose the zone.

  2. AI agents

    2. Fly

Build, including variants. The Flight Log is recorded.

  3. Tail, then human

    3. Check

Tests and evals first, then a human checks according to the zone.

  4. Team

    4. Learn

A failure becomes a test, a guardrail or context.

What the loop learns strengthens the next Frame and the Tail.

Highlighted: steps where a human makes the call.

Three fixed rhythms around the loop

Three fixed rhythms surround the loop, so the human also holds the line at team level.
